Deputy shot serving warrant will not need additional surgeries

LEE COUNTY, Ala. (WTVM) – A Lee County deputy shot while serving a rape warrant last week will not need additional surgeries, according to the sheriff’s office.

The deputy was shot in the arm and doctors are optimistic about the timeframe for his recovery after a latest follow-up, the sheriff’s office said.
