GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. — Boat traffic on a section of the Tennessee River will be restricted next week as the Tennessee Valley Authority replaces part of a transmission line spanning the waterway.
The work will take place on the Guntersville-Goose Pond 161-kilovolt transmission line where it crosses the Tennessee River at river mile 352, near the upper reaches of Honeycomb Creek. Restrictions are scheduled for Monday, April 27, with crews on-site from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. CT.
