CLINTON CO., Mich. (WILX) – The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a dog found dead in a trash bag Saturday.
Authorities said an adult male brown pit bull mix was discovered inside a garbage bag, along with a collar and leash, near Old U.S. 27 and Boichot Road.
“The condition he was found in was extremely concerning, and it’s clear he suffered,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement. Officials are awaiting results from a necropsy to determine the cause of death and gather additional details.
