7 Syracuse kids poisoned by lead at homes owned by father and son, AG says (see addresses)

Syracuse, NY — At least seven Syracuse children have suffered lead poisoning at properties owned by a father and son, the state Attorney General’s Office said Monday.

Harry Murphy and his son, Brian A. Murphy, have agreed to pay $35,000 to help children poisoned in their rentals, and $80,000 to complete lead-hazard inspections and repairs at their properties, the AG announced. If they fail to follow through, they face an additional $80,000 penalty.
