TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Two people have been indicted on federal theft charges after being accused of a string of mail thefts in Tallahassee, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Christy Holgate, 49, and Kim Benson, 52 were both charged with one county of conspiracy to commit mail theft. Additionally, Holgate was charged with four counts of mail theft and Benson was charged with one count of mail theft.
Court records show police responded to the Fallschase neighborhood in December after neighbors said they saw Benson and Holgate trying to break into locked mailboxes.
