Angela Bracht, 51, of Rockport, was arrested Monday after allegedly leading law enforcement on a slow-speed pursuit that ended in Nueces County, the Rockport Police Department posted on its Facebook page.
Rockport police officers responded at about 8:56 a.m. Monday to a convenience store following a report of an intoxicated woman attempting to purchase alcohol. The woman left the scene in a white Chevrolet Impala before officers arrived, the Facebook post stated.
Officers later located the vehicle and attempted a traffic stop after observing a violation, but the driver refused to stop, prompting a pursuit that continued south through San Patricio County and onto the causeway into Nueces County…
