Deadly 60th Street Smash-Up In Milwaukee Leaves 31-Year-Old Dead

A Sunday night collision near North 60th Street and West Hampton Street in Milwaukee left a 31-year-old dead, after a two-vehicle crash that unfolded around 10:30 p.m., according to police. One occupant was rushed from the scene to a hospital, where they were pronounced dead, and officers detained the driver of the second vehicle as crews worked through the debris.

As reported by CBS 58, Milwaukee police said the crash happened when a driver heading north on 60th Street struck another vehicle. The 26-year-old behind the wheel of the striking vehicle was taken into custody, and potential charges are now under review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
