Water damage forces elementary school in Wisconsin to close for ‘foreseeable future’

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) – A school in southern Wisconsin announced that it will be closed for the foreseeable future due to water damage.

The School District of Janesville posted on its Facebook page that after a weekend of intensive damage assessment and cleanup, the Washington Elementary school will stay closed. The closure due to water damage is expected to be for the ‘foreseeable future’.

The release says the district is looking at other spaces to accommodate around 400 students.
