WWII artifact ties Albany veteran to liberation of Dachau

ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) — As America celebrates its 250th birthday this year, attention is being turned to the Empire State’s rich history.

One story now preserved at the New York State Military Museum tells how a 19-year-old Jewish kid from Albany helped end one of the worst atrocities in world history and returned home with an extraordinary artifact.
