INDIANAPOLIS — Starting in June, officials with IndyGo stated that “significant service changes” will be implemented on the east side and on the near north side of Indianapolis.
This comes after IndyGo released its multi-year future service plan. According to a news release from IndyGo, officials said that this plan will help “improve frequency, reliability and connections across the system,” as well as prepare for the Blue Line.

“These changes align with IndyGo’s Future Service Plan, scheduled for completion by October 2028, and aim to increase bus frequency, optimize underperforming routes and enhance connections to the BRT network,” a news release from IndyGo read. “IndyGo has surveyed riders to verify the Future Service Plan meets the needs of riders today.”
