According to a recent study by HireAHelper.com titled “2026 Millennial Migration: Where the Largest Generation Is Headed Now,” the Lone Star State has officially become the premier destination for the millennial generation.
Texas Takes the Crown
Out of the 15 million moves tracked across the United States in 2025, Texas emerged as the undisputed heavyweight champion. The state gained a net total of 16,530 millennials which is more than double the growth of any other state in the nation. On a per capita basis, Texas now ranks No. 6, welcoming roughly 56 millennials for every 10,000 residents.
