Bethlehem residents and businesses will soon have a new option for high-speed internet as Greenlight Networks begins a $62 million expansion across Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley region, the company announced Monday in a news release.
The fiber-to-the-home provider has already started construction in central Bethlehem neighborhoods, with initial service expected this spring. More than 22,000 homes and businesses across the city are slated to gain access to the fiber-optic network as additional neighborhoods come online through summer and fall.
Nearly $33 million of the total investment will fund infrastructure within Bethlehem, making it one of the first communities selected for the network build. The full regional expansion is expected to reach tens of thousands of households and businesses by the end of 2027…
