Brush fires in Florida have caused cancellations and delays to Amtrak service — including one that left passengers stuck for nearly 24 hours.

The company confirmed the interruptions to service, which affected its Auto Train, Silver Meteor and Floridian trains, in a statement to PEOPLE.

“Amtrak is working closely with our host railroad partner, CSX, to monitor two wildfires near the Clay–Putnam County line in Florida,” the company said…
