(BOSTON) — While most athletes running in the Boston Marathon wore a tank top and shorts, one man from Providence chose a suit and tie.
The finish line is on Boylston Street, but for Maurice Lowman, it’s the site of something completely different.
“On this very same street, I overcame hardcore addiction and being homeless, so now I’m sober and I’m running a marathon on these same streets and trying to deliver a message of hope to people,” Lowman said.
