Judge faces ‘dilemma’ as pregnancy delays Staten Island woman’s burglary sentencing

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Sentencing proceedings in the burglary case of Tiffany Gallego have been delayed again, in light of medical records indicating that she is pregnant.

Gallego, 35, of Bulls Head, was convicted by a jury in May 2025 for what prosecutors described as a string of “terrifying” residential burglaries. Her then-boyfriend, Anthony Cutaia, 37, of Rossville, was also convicted in the case.

Cutaia — who had a record prior to the burglaries and came from a mob lineage — was sentenced in January to 32 years in prison, the Advance/SILive.com reported previously…
