Jasper County administrator announces his retirement

JASPER COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) — Jasper County Administrator Andrew Fulghum has announced his retirement.

On Tuesday, Fulghum announced he will officially retire after “months of discussion” with the Jasper County Council. This will be effective on May 4, and the Council will appoint an interim county administration during the search for a replacement.

“After 22 years of service with Jasper County and 29 years in the profession, it is time for me to retire from this line of work and seek the next chapter,” said Fulghum in a statement. “I am deeply thankful for all who have helped me along the way here in Jasper County, and I look forward to seeing very good things ahead for Jasper County.”…
