MADISON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A boil water notice has been issued for 488 customers in Madison County.
According to the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH), the notice was issued for customers served by the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District (PRVWSD) in the following locations:
- Channel Circle
- Summit Drive
- Twin Harbor Place
- Old Rice Road
- Traceview Road
- Trace Harbor Road
- Harbor Road
According to officials, the precautionary notice was issued as the result of a damaged water main. Customers will be notified when this notice is lifted.
Health officials recommend that all water be boiled for one minute before it is consumed.
