The glitz and glamour of the Las Vegas Strip is about 2,000 miles from Chelsea, MI, but Silver Maples of Chelsea did a good job of replicating it when they recently hosted a “casino night” on campus.
According to Chip Grover, assistant director of life enrichment, the event came together thanks to a colleague’s late-night Pinterest browsing, as well as a fortuitous blast from the past. Although it was not the community’s first casino night, it was the first one in a long time.
