NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Newport News police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that happened on Tuesday morning.
The crash happened at 5:47 a.m. near the intersection of 29th Street and Warwick Boulevard, police said. When police arrived, they found Meggan Thompson, 52, of Newport News, suffering from serious injuries.
