NORRIS, Tenn (WATE) — A longtime park in Anderson County is set for a major upgrade. The tennis courts next to the Norris Community Building will soon be transformed into a million-dollar “Sports Complex”.
The are that is now just two tennis courts with a disc golf course will soon be converted into an area with a price tag of around $1 million.

“It is a generational investment. This will be something that people will be proud of when they think of Norris,” said Norris City Manager Bailey Whited.
The project will add four pickleball courts, a high school-size basketball court, and improvements to the existing tennis courts, along with updated amenities to create a new “Sports Complex” that’s been years in the making…
