WREC Honors Vegetation Management Contractors and Staff for Commitment to Reliability and Safety

BROOKSVILLE, FL — Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative (WREC) recognized its vegetation management contractors and internal staff for their essential role in maintaining system reliability and supporting safe, dependable electric service for Members. The Cooperative partners with hundreds of Davey vegetation management contractors whose work helps protect electric infrastructure, reduce outages, and improve restoration times.

To show appreciation for their contributions, WREC hosted a cookout honoring both contractors and staff, offering an opportunity to personally thank those whose behind‑the‑scenes efforts keep power flowing safely across the service area.

Contractors Praised for Strengthening System Reliability
