Next Phase of Regional Collaboration Begins in Four Corners

The next phase of regional collaboration begins in Four Corners, as a task force transitions into a chamber of commerce. The Four Corners region is one of the fastest-growing areas in Florida, with ongoing coordination across jurisdictions playing a critical role in maintaining local quality of life and supporting local economic opportunity.

After years of coordinated regional leadership, the Four Corners Commissioners Task Force in Central Florida, consisting of current and former leaders from Lake County, Orange County, Osceola County, and Polk County, marked a transition in their collaborative efforts, as a new regional chamber of commerce was established to carry forward and expand upon that work.

“The Four Corners is a vibrant and rapidly growing region, driven by the residents and businesses who call it home,” Orange County Commissioner Nicole Wilson said. “Transitioning from the Task Force to a Chamber of Commerce is the next step in our mission to improve the quality of life and economic opportunity in the region. The Chamber will allow us to bring the community’s voice directly into the conversation and strengthen our ability to work across county lines. I’m grateful and excited to support this new chapter and help foster a more coordinated, responsive approach that empowers the families and businesses in the Four Corners area.”…
