Students from two area high schools gathered in mid-April for an interactive business simulation designed to demonstrate how manufacturing companies operate.
Headlined “Ready or Not,” the April 16 event at Portland Community College’s Newberg Center saw more than 50 students from Newberg and Gaston gather for what organizers characterized as a “high-energy, hands-on” event hosted by the college and the Oregon Manufacturing Extension Partnership.
