Albany man accused of headbutting victim in the face in front of a child

Saratoga County, NY (WRGB) — A 22-year-old Albany man has been arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges after authorities said he violated an order of protection during a reported late-night incident in the town of Ballston.

The Sheriff’s Office said it arrested Jaiden Mitchell on Sunday on an arrest warrant issued by the Ballston Town Court. Mitchell is charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a class E felony, as well as second-degree criminal contempt, third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal trespass and endangering the welfare of a child, all class A misdemeanors.

The charges stem from an incident that reportedly occurred April 18, 2026, at 11:17 p.m. on Blue Heron Way in Ballston.
