NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Nashville is home to some of the worst interstate bottlenecks in the U.S., according to a recent report.
The American Transportation Research Institute released a report this week saying that Tennessee has eight out of the 100 worst truck bottlenecks on U.S. interstates, and half of them are in Nashville.

- #7 Nashville, TN: I-24/I-40 at I-440 (East)
- #19 Nashville, TN: I-40 at I-65 (East)
- #30 Chattanooga, TN: I-75 at I-24
- #34 Chattanooga, TN: I-24 at US 27
- #37 Knoxville, TN: I-40/I-75 at I-140
- #49 Nashville, TN: I-65 at I-24
- #61 Knoxville, TN: I-40 at I-275
- #67 Nashville, TN: I-65 at SR 386
The worst bottleneck was reported in Chicago, I-294 at I-290/I-88. It was followed by I-95 at SR 4 in Fort Lee, NJ, and I-285 at I-85 (North) in Atlanta…
