Gun in Valley Forge High School suicide belonged to student’s family member, police say

PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio (WOIO) – Parma City School District said its safety and security protocols operated as intended Monday when a student died by suicide at Valley Forge High School.

The student, an 18-year-old woman, died shortly after she shot herself in the cafeteria in front of her classmates, according to witnesses and Parma Schools.
