House fire in Saratoga leaves two hospitalized

(KRON) — A child and an adult were hospitalized after a house fire broke out in Saratoga Wednesday morning, according to the Santa Clara County Fire Department.

Firefighters responded at 5:36 a.m. to a two-story home involved in flames in the 20300 block of Saratoga-Los Gatos Road. Crews shut down the roadway between Aloha Avenue and Carnelian Glen Court before the blaze was brought under control.

In an update shared just after noon, the fire department said investigators remain on site as they determine the origin and cause of the fire.
