Syracuse, N.Y. – Syracuse police officers used a drone and police dog to find a suspect, and later his firearm, in a wooded area off Burnet Avenue, police said.
Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office deputies started to pursue a car at around 1:30 a.m. Friday on Court Street, according to Tom Newton, a sheriff’s office spokesperson. The vehicle was speeding and did not yield for an attempted traffic stop, he said.
