Wioletta’s Polish Kitchen closing, but owners hope to bridge the gap at market

On April 7, Wioletta’s Polish Kitchen, 7135 S. 13th St. in Oak Creek, posted a brief closing announcement on social media.

“Wioletta’s Polish Kitchen has been acquired by Golden Honey Pancakes & Cafe,” the message read. “Our last dinner service will be Sunday, April 26th. Golden Honey Pancakes & Cafe is anticipating a May 4th grand opening date. We look forward to serving you the last few weeks. Thank you!”

Context for the closing

The restaurant, which opened in October of 2025, filled a void that had been building for years, a lack of Polish dining in the Milwaukee area.
