ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A teenager faces a handful of charges following a shooting outside of a Rockford Burger King.
The 17-year-old male from Rockford is charged with armed robbery, aggravated battery (public way), aggravated discharge of a firearm, possession of a firearm without a FOID card and aggravated battery (discharge of a firearm).
Around 12:15 p.m. Saturday, April 11, police were called to the Burger King at 2911 Auburn Street for reports of a shooting.
The victim, a 29-year-old man, left the scene and went to a local hospital before police arrived…
