WOODBURN, Ore. (KATU) — Governor Tina Kotek will held a ceremonial bill signing today in Woodburn highlighting several housing-related bills aimed at expanding housing supply and affordability.
These measures include expanding urban growth boundaries for housing development, creating a fund to preserve at-risk affordable housing, and launching a mixed-income housing loan program.
“In this case, we want to make sure our seniors or folks, our working families, have better options with manufactured homes that are high quality, but at better price points,” Oregon Governor Tina Kotek stated. “This is about the whole state. It’s about land, it’s about regulation, it’s about helping things get built and putting some money on the table. These bills do all of those things.”…
