After outpouring of donations, Mohawk Hudson Humane Society to host pop-up pet food pantry

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society (MHHS) is hosting a free pet food pop-up pantry on Thursday. The event will take place at 165 Henry Johnson Boulevard beginning at noon and will run until the MHHS van is empty.

Dog and cat food will be available, along with a limited amount of pet supplies. The event will operate as first come, first served, so it is recommended that guests arrive early and look for the MHHS van.

After announcing on April 15 that the shelter’s pantry shelves were empty, the community rallied together and stocked it full. Now, the organization says they are looking to give that same support back.

“We’re so grateful to everyone who stepped up when we needed help restocking our pantry. Because of you, we’re able to keep showing up for our community, and the animals who depend on us all,” MHHS said in a Facebook post.
