NUECES COUNTY, Texas — The jury went into deliberations just before 4 o’clock following closing arguments Wednesday. Rob Thomas Garza is on trial for leading authorities on a chase and shooting at law enforcement last April. It all came to an end in the Sandia area.
News cameras were not allowed inside the courtroom. Wednesday, during closing arguments we heard from the state that said Garza knew what he was doing when he opened fire on public servants.
The defense said it was a chaotic scene asked if the defendant was specifically seen on camera firing off shots and that he was never swabbed for gun residue…
