A Missouri man is facing multiple charges after a 110 miles-per-hour pursuit in the city of Harrison followed by a foot pursuit before he was found hiding under a vehicle. Nineteen-year-old Charles Matthew Hutcherson of Brighton, Missouri is being held in the Boone County Detention Center.
According to the probable cause affidavit from the Harrison Police Department, law enforcement was notified of two cars racing on U.S. Highway 62/65 in the area of Clay Maxey Ford on April 11. A short time later, an officer spotted one of the vehicles traveling north at 64 miles-per-hour in a 40 miles-per-hour zone. That officer initiated a pursuit but lost sight of the vehicle near Walmart Drive.
A second officer was behind the pursuit and was stationed near north of Airport Road and encountered the vehicle which was now traveling south, back into the city, at 90 miles-per-hour…
