Man allegedly flashed gun during Dollar General robbery in Berkeley County

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) — Police are searching for a man who robbed a Berkley County-area Dollar General while armed.

Around 11 a.m. Tuesday, authorities were called to the store on 10216 Highway 78 regarding a shoplifting incident involving a weapon.

The suspect, authorities were told, was seen concealing merchandise and, when confronted, lifted his shirt to display a green-colored handgun before leaving the business on foot.
