NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) – Nebraska State Patrol troopers arrested a Cleveland woman after finding six pounds of cocaine during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 near Maxwell.
A trooper saw a Jeep Cherokee speeding on Interstate 80 near Maxwell at approximately 4:00 p.m. Tuesday. During the traffic stop, the trooper detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.
Troopers searched the vehicle and found six pounds of cocaine concealed in a bag inside the rear of the vehicle, as well as a small amount of marijuana. Troopers determined that the cocaine was in the possession of the passenger.
