JASPER, Ind. (WFIE) – Indiana State Police officials say one of their troopers was honored for his efforts in a grain bin rescue that happened back in March of 2024.
According to ISP officials, Trooper Jacob Lauer responded to assist and ultimately saved the life of someone who become trapped from the waist down in a floor sweep auger inside a grain bin.
Trooper Lauer quickly realized the gravity of the situation and immediately jumped into action…
