Conway man in prison, Murrells Inlet woman among 5 indicted in $1.1 million loan-fraud scheme

COLUMBIA, SC (WMBF) – United States authorities have announced charges in a million-dollar wire fraud scheme.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office announced on Thursday that a federal grand jury in Columbia returned a 13-count indictment, charging five individuals with wire fraud, aiding and abetting, and destruction of records related to PPP loans.
