Most Rutherford County Library officials agreed this week to eliminate freedom to read policies on national “Right to Read Day.”
Library System Board member Angela Frederick said a majority vote she opposed was bringing an end to the American Library Association (ALA) policies she supports on “Right to Read Day,” which is part of “National Library Week.”
