The City of Ingleside has issued a declaration of emergency and a Local Disaster designation due to dwindling water resources and the threat of continued severe drought conditions around the region.
An Ingleside city spokesperson said the declaration and designation were issued on April 22 by Ingleside Mayor Oscar Adame, citing the severe drought and declining water supply.
