A pedestrian is dead after a car hit him on the sidewalk Wednesday evening near the Waldo and East Meyer neighborhoods of Kansas City, according to police.
Kansas City police are investigating the driver for suspected driving under the influence in the fatal crash, according to a press release from Officer Alayna Gonzalez, a police spokesperson.
