ROCKFORD — A new day care and early childhood education academy celebrated its ribbon-cutting on Thursday to officially mark its revival of the former Rockford Day Nursery site.
Rockford DayCare & Academy cut the ribbon on its facility at 2323 S. Sixth St., just across from J.L. Clark, in a ceremony with the Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce. The 12-classroom preschool center and day care started accepting enrollment for 2 to 5 year olds in late February. It has a waitlist for its eventual expansion to care for infants and toddlers…
