St. Paul man receives 10-year sentence for beating man to death with tire iron

A St. Paul man who attacked another man with a tire iron and killed him has been sentenced to over 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder.

Daniel Moua, 20, pleaded guilty this week for the killing of 54-year-old James Thurber in July of 2025.
