SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A 23-year-old was arrested for aggravated assault in Sioux Falls Wednesday night.
According to Sioux Falls Police Sgt. Aaron Benson, around 9:30 p.m Wednesday, officers were dispatched to East 9th Street and North Van Eps Avenue for a report of a gunshot. Officers investigating the incident found a handgun outside a residence and spoke with two men who were on scene.
One of the men reported that they were outside their home when a black Kia vehicle stopped outside nearby. There was a verbal exchange between the men and the people inside the Kia. The driver of the vehicle and the passengers then got out of the vehicle.
The driver then approached the men, took out a handgun and pointed it at them. The men reported that the driver asked them, “Which one wanted to die first?” The driver then struck one of the men in the head twice with the handgun…
