SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – On this edition of Throwback Thursday, Lori Kent with the Local Lou Podcast tells us about the Coliseum in Sioux Falls.
“We’re looking at the Coliseum, which a lot of people have been kind of buzzing about this week. There was a plan released that talks about how the Minnehaha County Administration Building has outgrown its footprint on 6th and Minnesota Avenue, and they want to expand. Now, this is a multi-decade project, and in order to make room for a new building, they’re going to knock down a couple of buildings. One of them on the chopping block is the Coliseum,” said Kent.
“So, I thought it would be a good time to talk about their history and how this is not the first time they’ve been at risk of a wrecking ball.”…
