SUN: 9 former Baltimore Police officers added to ‘Do Not Call’ list after 18-month review

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — The Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office updated the “Do Not Call” list Wednesday with nine new names of Baltimore City Police officers employed more than five years ago by the department. The list is a roster of officers, both current and former, with credibility issues that the State’s Attorney’s Office maintains on its website.

The office added the names after a year and a half review of Baltimore City Police records, said Baltimore City State’s Attorney Spokesman James Bentley.

“Our Public Trust & Police Integrity Unit conducted a deep dive into [Baltimore City Police Internal Affairs database] IAPro to locate any sustained findings for things like ‘false statements’ that we were not previously aware of, along with criminal charges against officers that we also were not aware of (i.e., from other jurisdictions),” Bentley said to The Baltimore Sun in an email…
