CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A west Charlotte parish said it’s seeing what prayer can do. The Diocese of Charlotte is putting $4 million toward major repairs at Our Lady of Consolation, the city’s only Black Catholic church, after years of deterioration forced worship services out of the sanctuary and into a gym.
