HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. (WCJB) – A High Springs city commissioner is being sued by the developer of a large new community.
The developers of the Bridlewood community sued Katherine Weitz, claiming she opposes the project because, according to the lawsuit, “it’s in her backyard” and her opposition violated their due process and equal protection rights.
Weitz has said Bridlewood poses a threat to area geology and would be too expensive for current residents to buy a home there…
