Fugitive captured after falling through neighbor’s ceiling during attic escape attempt in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A fugitive who had been on the run for more than a month was captured Tuesday night after he fell through a neighbor’s ceiling while trying to escape U.S. Marshals through an attic.

Police said 36-year-old Darrius Cane was living in a condo at the Fairways complex when U.S. Marshals arrived. He attempted to escape through the attic but fell through the ceiling into a neighboring unit.
