OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The severe storms rolled across eastern Nebraska and western Iowa Thursday afternoon, and left mostly hail across the region. There were two tornado reports in western Iowa: One around Little Sioux, and one near Riverton.
Clouds are clearing out tonight, and Friday will be a beautiful spring day! It will be cool enough for a jacket or sweatshirt in the morning. By the afternoon, expect a lot of sun and highs around 70°.
Rain chances are back this weekend. The trend Saturday is keeping most of the showers and t-showers either north, west, or south of Omaha. Yes, you can go ahead and make your Omadome joke. A few of them will penetrate the defenses, and you could see a few raindrops in the metro…..
